Treatment of Gingival Recession

Recession defects around teeth can not only be unaesthetic, they also lead to sensitivity around the affected teeth. By providing soft tissue grafts we not only reduce sensitivity, we also prevent future recession at that site by covering the recession defect with new keratinized tissue.

Crown Lengthening

Occasionally when a tooth has worn down to the point it is difficult to maintain a crown, your General Dentist may refer you to us for Crown Lengthening. This procedure involves exposing more of the tooth structure to allow for a better fitting crown that will last longer.

Dental Implants

Dental Implants have become the standard of care to replace missing teeth. Their benefits include better aesthetics, as well as cleansability and predictability. We offer a wide range of Dental Implant therapies utilizing Nobel Biocare, the industry's number one implant manufacturer and founder of Dental Implants. We also perform a myriad of other services such as Guided Bone Regeneration and Sinus Augmentation to ensure that every patient can receive Dental Implant therapy if they wish.

Canine Exposure

The Canines, or eye teeth as they are sometimes called, are some of the last teeth to erupt into the mouth. In patients who have small jaws, this can cause these teeth to become impacted and not fully erupt. We can perform a canine exposure in coordination with your orthodontist to assist movement of these teeth into their natural position.

Frenectomy

There are a multitude of muscles within the oral cavity, and in some patients these muscles attach too high up on the gums. This leads to tension within the muscle and can translate into recession defects, speech impediments, spaces between the teeth, or improper denture fit. In these cases a simple frenectomy can release the tension and alleviate all of the associated symptoms.

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)

This is a state of the art 3D x-ray machine that allows us to visualize bone density, volume, shape, as well as exact placement of impacted teeth. This machine also allows us to plan implant placement in patients that have severe bone resorption. CBCT’s are becoming the standard of care to ensure the best possible treatment for patients missing multiple teeth.

Sedation Dentistry

All of these procedures can be performed here in our friendly office with the aid of sedation. We offer Nitrous Oxide, Oral Sedation, and IV Conscious Sedation to allow our patients to be as comfortable as possible throughout treatment.
